Zero-Party Data
Data that a customer intentionally and proactively shares with a brand, including preference center data, purchase intentions, and personal context.
Unlike third-party data (purchased) or first-party data (observed), zero-party data is freely given by the prospect themselves — making it the highest-quality signal available.
Examples include quiz or assessment responses, preference center selections, and explicit opt-in declarations of interest in a product category.
