Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
A categorical description of the type of company that would derive the most value from your product and provide the most value to your business.
An ICP is company-level (firmographic) — unlike a buyer persona which is person-level. A strong ICP defines:
• Industry / vertical • Company size (headcount, revenue) • Tech stack • Go-to-market motion (inbound, outbound, PLG) • Funding stage
