Okta SSO Installation

Prerequisites

• Login to your Okta admin dashboard
• Okta Token
• Domain Name

How to get your Okta Token

Step 1: Login to Okta.com

Go to https://your-domain.okta.com/signin and sign in with your admin credentials.

Step 2: Find "Security tab" on left nav bar

Immediately after signing in, you will see the Security tab on left navigation bar, click on that.

Step 3: Find "API" in the Security drop down

After clicking on the Security tab, a drop down will appear. You will a field called API over there. Click on API.

Step 4: Click on the "Tokens tab"

Click on Tokens tab present under API heading. Then click on the button "Create Token".

Step 5: Create "New Token"

Enter a suitable name for the Token and click on "Create Token".

Step 6: COPY the Token

This will only appear to you once, so please make sure you copy the Token Value showcased to you. You can note it down or click on the copy icon next to it, or do both for safety.

How to get your Domain Name configured

Your Domain Name is there in your address bar itself. You just have to see the url in the address bar of your browser.

For example, if your url is https://dev-97439013.okta.com/signin, then your Domain name is dev-97439013.
