Leads don’t slip away from a lack of traffic. They slip away in the moments right after intent shows up.

A prospect replies with interest. A deal stage updates in your CRM. Ownership changes hands. Yet outreach keeps running, follow-ups keep firing, and context gets scattered across tools. Teams end up patching it together manually, often too late.

    Handover Rules fixes that gap.

Why handover breaks in outbound goals

Outbound execution is straightforward. Handover is where inconsistency shows up.

Intent arrives in different forms, and each signal implies a different next action. Without a shared automation layer, outcomes depend on who noticed the signal first. Timing drifts. CRM hygiene suffers. Prospects get the wrong message at the wrong moment.

Wyzard.ai’s approach is simple: if a signal matters, the system should act.

What we launched: the Handover Rules Framework

We’ve launched a structured automation layer that evaluates CRM-based triggers and reply-based triggers, then runs predefined actions across goals.

You can now configure Global and Goal-Level Handover Rules that:

    • Listen for CRM signals and reply signals
    • Execute the actions you define, automatically
    • Follow rule priority and execution order
    • Avoid duplicate outcomes when multiple rules match
    • Keep Wyzard.ai goals, lead state, and CRM activity aligned

This gives teams one reliable place to define “what should happen next” when intent appears.

    How it works in practice

Each rule follows a clear pattern:

    Trigger → Condition → Action

    • Triggers are the events Wyzard.ai listens for, such as a reply, a CRM stage change, or an owner change.
    • Conditions refine when the rule applies, such as goal context, lead tags, or sequence step.
    • Actions are what Wyzard.ai should do next, such as handing a lead to a rep, pausing outreach, completing a goal, or updating CRM fields.

When a signal comes in, Wyzard.ai evaluates matching rules in priority order. One rule runs as the winner for that situation. Conflicts get blocked. A record is kept so your team can see what fired and why.

Common handover flows teams can automate

Positive reply → route to sales, stop outreach
A lead replies with interest. A rule assigns an owner, notifies the right channel, and stops further outbound steps for that lead.

CRM stage moves to Opportunity → keep goals clean
A lead reaches Opportunity in the CRM. A rule marks the goal outcome, prevents extra follow-ups, and keeps reporting accurate.

Unsubscribe or hard bounce → apply safety immediately
A lead unsubscribes or bounces. A rule updates the lead’s state and prevents future outreach tied to that lead.

    What changes for your team

Handover Rules make outcomes consistent. It reduces lead leakage, improves follow-up speed, and cuts the manual work that slows lean teams down. Your goals stay aligned with what’s happening in the CRM and in replies, without someone babysitting every signal.
